Une journee trop triste

Two days ago, our friends in France experienced a horrible day.  Our hearts go out to them as they bravely face the ongoing situation in their country.  We have been and will continue to be friends.  So to anyone reading this in France, On vous embrasse.

The fact that this was just a day like any other and people were just at work or at school minding their own business...well that's the part that is scary.  Nobody expects this to happen to them, which is good.  That would be a horrible way to live.  We will continue to live our lives and help others heal from the hurts they are suffering.

Hug your family members.  Say "thank you" to someone when they don't expect it.  Leave a dollar on the vending machine for a stranger.  Considering the weather today in Montana, scrape the ice from someone's windshield or shovel their driveway.  We all have things going on in our lives that are less than ideal.  Help someone out.  The fact that people are showing small tokens of caring for one another will mean a lot.

Be gentle with your words and actions, and generous with your laughter and kindness.

And to all of my readers (yes, you!  EG/SG), have a great day and just be awesome!!

Madame, my heart is hurting for the nation of France right now! As I have explained in my informative and enjoyable travel documentaries, France is a nation of beauty and pride. As they would say in the Paris region "Merci Beaucoup mes amies!"
