Okay, people. This is just my two cents' worth. I think that we have so much pressure on ourselves. Some of it is self-inflicted, but we get it from other places too. There is school, work, extracurricular activities, church, and family time. Once in a while we might even get some (gasp!) down time. What?! People are walking around living their lives to fulfill others' expectations (which is sometimes necessary), but sometimes, that is done with a great price...sanity. We don't have to be everything for everyone and every moment. If we aren't perfect, it's ok to say "I'm sorry." It's also ok to go to bed to feel rested and not like you are being tied and quartered. Yikes! The stress level I see amongst many of my students is so high that I honestly worry about their physical health. Be kind to yourselves, friends. Forgive yourselves, and accept yourselves with all of your imperfections. That's the beauty of life. Nobody is perfect. That would be very unsettling...kinda like Stepford wives. We aren't robots. We are human beings with feelings, needs and obligations. Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be. Speaking words of wisdom. Let it be.
